Beat the dealer's hand total without going over 21. If your hand exceeds 21 you bust and lose that hand immediately — regardless of what the dealer draws afterward.
Number cards (2–10) are worth face value. Face cards (Jack, Queen, King) are worth 10. Aces are worth either 1 or 11 — whichever benefits your hand more at that moment.
An Ace plus any 10-value card on your first two cards is a Natural Blackjack. At ezji Blackjack MH this pays 3:2 — so a ₱500 bet returns ₱750 profit on top of your stake.
Hit to receive another card and increase your hand total. Stand to keep your current total and pass action to the dealer. Each of your active hands is resolved independently.
After your first two cards you may double your bet and receive exactly one more card. Most effective on hard 9, 10, or 11 when the dealer shows a weak upcard of 4, 5, or 6.
When your first two cards share the same value you may split them into two separate hands, each with its own equal bet. Always split Aces and 8s. Never split 10s or 5s.
When the dealer's upcard is an Ace, you may place an Insurance side bet worth up to half your original stake. Insurance pays 2:1 if the dealer has Blackjack — but basic strategy advises against taking it.
The dealer must hit on all totals of 16 or below and stand on all totals of 17 or above (including soft 17 in most ezji variants). The dealer never splits or doubles down.
