ezji Privacy Policy
At ezji, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains exactly what personal information we collect from you, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights you hold as a data subject under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012. We recommend reading it in full before using our platform.
Our Commitment to Your Privacy
Six principles that guide how ezji handles every piece of data you share with us.
ezji employs industry-standard TLS encryption, secure server infrastructure, and strict internal access controls to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction at all times.
ezji does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third-party marketers or data brokers. Any sharing of your data with third parties is strictly limited to what is necessary to deliver our services and meet our legal obligations.
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act, you have the right to access, correct, erase, and object to the processing of your personal data. You may also withdraw consent and file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission where applicable.
We only collect personal information that is genuinely necessary for the purpose for which it is being collected. We do not gather data out of habit or convenience — every data point we hold has a clear, lawful purpose attached to it.
We are upfront about what data we collect and why. This Privacy Policy is written in plain, accessible English so that every ezji player in the Philippines — whether in Manila, Cebu, Davao, or anywhere else — can fully understand how their information is used.
ezji retains your personal data only for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, or as required by PAGCOR licensing conditions and Philippine anti-money laundering regulations. Data no longer required is securely deleted.

3 How We Collect Your Data
ezji collects personal data through the following means:
3.1 Direct Collection
The majority of personal data we hold about you is provided directly by you during the course of your relationship with ezji, including when you: register an Account on the Platform; complete KYC identity verification; make a deposit or withdrawal; contact our customer support team via live chat or email; respond to a survey or promotion; or activate any responsible gaming tool on your Account.
3.2 Automated Technical Collection
When you access the ezji Platform, certain technical data is automatically collected by our servers and analytics systems. This includes your IP address, device identifiers, browser information, session timestamps, and navigation behaviour within the Platform. This data is collected primarily for security, fraud prevention, and performance monitoring purposes.
3.3 Third-Party Sources
In limited circumstances, ezji may receive personal data about you from third parties, including: payment providers (e.g., GCash, Maya, BPI, BDO, UnionBank) for transaction verification purposes; identity verification service providers used in our KYC process; fraud detection and AML screening services; and regulatory databases maintained by PAGCOR or the AMLC, where required for compliance purposes.
3.4 Cookies and Similar Technologies
ezji uses cookies and similar tracking technologies as described in Section 7 of this Privacy Policy. Cookie data may be collected automatically when you visit the Platform, subject to your consent preferences.
4 How We Use Your Personal Data
ezji uses personal data collected from you for the following specific, declared purposes. We do not use your personal data for any purpose incompatible with those stated below:
- Account Registration and Management: To create and maintain your ezji Account, verify your identity and age (21+ requirement), and manage your Account settings and preferences.
- Service Delivery: To provide access to the games, features, and services available on the ezji Platform, including processing bets, calculating winnings, and crediting your Account accordingly.
- Payment Processing: To process deposits and withdrawal requests via your chosen payment method (GCash, Maya, BPI, BDO, UnionBank, 7-Eleven, USDT TRC20, or Coins.ph) and to verify payment instrument ownership.
- KYC and Identity Verification: To comply with PAGCOR licensing conditions and Philippine anti-money laundering law (AMLA) by verifying the identity of all players prior to processing withdrawals or upon reasonable suspicion of fraudulent activity.
- Fraud and Security: To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent activity, money laundering, bonus abuse, account takeover attempts, and other prohibited conduct on the Platform.
- Responsible Gaming: To monitor gaming activity for indicators of problem gambling, implement responsible gaming tools you have activated, and fulfil our obligations under PAGCOR's responsible gaming framework.
- Customer Support: To respond to your enquiries, resolve disputes, and provide assistance through our live chat and email support channels.
- Regulatory Compliance: To meet our reporting obligations to PAGCOR, the AMLC, the National Privacy Commission, and other competent Philippine regulatory and law enforcement authorities.
- Platform Improvement: To analyse usage patterns, diagnose technical issues, and improve the features, performance, and user experience of the ezji Platform.
- Marketing Communications: Where you have provided your consent, to send you promotional offers, bonus notifications, and relevant gaming updates via email or SMS. You may withdraw consent at any time by updating your Account notification preferences.
5 Legal Basis for Processing
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, ezji processes your personal data on the following lawful bases:
- Contractual Necessity: Processing is necessary to perform the contract between you and ezji — i.e., to provide the gaming services you have registered to access, including Account management, game delivery, and payment processing.
- Legal Obligation: Processing is required to comply with applicable Philippine law, including PAGCOR licensing conditions, the Anti-Money Laundering Act (RA 9160 as amended), the Data Privacy Act (RA 10173), and any applicable AMLC regulations.
- Legitimate Interests: Processing is carried out for the legitimate interests of ezji in operating a secure, fair, and financially sound gaming platform — including fraud prevention, security monitoring, and Platform improvement — where such interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
- Consent: For specific processing activities that are not covered by the above bases — in particular, direct marketing communications — ezji relies on your freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent. You may withdraw this consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.
6 Sharing Your Personal Data
ezji does not sell, rent, or otherwise trade your personal data to third parties for their own commercial purposes. We share your personal data only in the following specific and necessary circumstances:
6.1 Service Providers
We engage carefully selected third-party service providers who process personal data on our behalf and strictly under our instruction, including: payment processors and e-wallet operators (GCash, Maya, BPI, BDO, UnionBank, 7-Eleven, USDT TRC20, Coins.ph); KYC and identity verification providers; fraud detection and AML screening services; IT infrastructure and cloud hosting providers; and customer support technology platforms. All such providers are bound by data processing agreements that require them to maintain confidentiality and apply appropriate security measures.
6.2 Regulatory and Legal Authorities
ezji is required by Philippine law to share certain player data with regulatory and law enforcement authorities, including PAGCOR (for licensing compliance and audit purposes), the Anti-Money Laundering Council (for suspicious transaction reporting under the AMLA), the National Privacy Commission (in the event of a data breach or upon regulatory request), and any court or competent authority where required by a valid legal order.
6.3 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of ezji's assets, your personal data may be transferred to the successor entity as part of that transaction. You will be notified in advance of any such transfer that materially affects how your data is processed, and your rights under the Data Privacy Act will be preserved throughout.
7 Cookies & Tracking Technologies
The ezji Platform uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience, maintain your session, and support our security and analytics functions. A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. The types of cookies ezji uses are as follows:
- Strictly Necessary Cookies: These cookies are essential for the Platform to function correctly and cannot be disabled. They include session authentication cookies that keep you logged in during an active gaming session and security cookies that detect and prevent fraudulent activity.
- Functional Cookies: These cookies remember your preferences — such as your preferred language, display settings, and responsible gaming tool configurations — so that you do not need to re-enter them on each visit.
- Analytics Cookies: These cookies help us understand how players use the Platform, which pages are visited most, and where technical issues arise. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymised where possible. We use this data solely to improve the Platform.
- Security and Fraud Prevention Cookies: These cookies are used to identify suspicious activity, detect bot traffic, and protect the integrity of our gaming environment and payment systems.
You may control cookie settings through your browser preferences. Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will impair the functionality of the Platform and may prevent you from accessing your Account or placing bets.
8 Data Retention
ezji retains your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable Philippine law and PAGCOR licensing conditions. The following general retention periods apply:
- Active Account Data: Retained for the duration of your Account's active status plus a minimum of five (5) years following Account closure, in accordance with AMLC record-keeping requirements under the Anti-Money Laundering Act.
- KYC and Identity Documents: Retained for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of the last transaction on the Account, as required by the AMLC Implementing Rules and PAGCOR licensing conditions.
- Financial Transaction Records: Retained for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of the transaction, consistent with AMLC and Bureau of Internal Revenue record-keeping obligations.
- Customer Support Records: Retained for two (2) years from the date of the interaction, unless related to a dispute or regulatory investigation, in which case records are retained for the duration of such proceedings plus two (2) years.
- Marketing Consent Records: Retained for the duration of your consent plus three (3) years following withdrawal, to demonstrate compliance with consent obligations.
- Technical and Log Data: Generally retained for twelve (12) months for operational and security purposes, after which it is anonymised or deleted.
Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, personal data is securely deleted or anonymised in accordance with ezji's internal data destruction procedures.
9 Data Security
ezji implements a comprehensive set of technical and organisational security measures designed to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, accidental loss, destruction, or disclosure. These measures include:
- Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption for all data transmitted between your device and the ezji Platform;
- Encryption of sensitive data at rest, including financial data and government ID document scans;
- Strict role-based access controls limiting employee access to personal data to those with a genuine operational need;
- Regular security audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments conducted by independent security specialists;
- Multi-factor authentication requirements for all internal ezji systems that hold personal data;
- Formal data breach response procedures, including notification to the National Privacy Commission within 72 hours of discovering a breach that is likely to pose a risk to data subjects' rights and freedoms, and notification to affected players without undue delay; and
- Regular staff training on data privacy obligations and secure data handling practices.
10 International Data Transfers
The ezji Platform is operated primarily from the Philippines, and the majority of personal data we collect is processed and stored on servers located within the Philippines or in jurisdictions that provide an adequate level of data protection as determined by the National Privacy Commission.
In limited circumstances, personal data may be transferred to service providers located outside the Philippines — for example, cloud infrastructure providers or international fraud screening services. Where such transfers occur, ezji ensures that appropriate safeguards are in place, which may include: contractual clauses approved by the National Privacy Commission; the recipient country's recognition as providing an adequate level of data protection; or specific consent obtained from the data subject for the transfer.
ezji does not transfer personal data to jurisdictions that do not provide an adequate level of protection without implementing the safeguards described above. You may request further information about the specific safeguards applicable to any international transfer of your data by contacting our Data Protection Officer.
11 Your Rights as a Data Subject
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 and its implementing rules and regulations, you have the following rights in respect of your personal data held by ezji:
- Right to Be Informed: You have the right to be informed that your personal data is being collected and processed, and to know the purposes, scope, and method of processing before or at the time of collection.
- Right of Access: You have the right to request a copy of the personal data ezji holds about you, along with information about how it is being processed.
- Right to Correction / Rectification: You have the right to dispute the accuracy or completeness of your personal data and to request that it be corrected, updated, or supplemented where inaccurate or incomplete.
- Right to Erasure or Blocking: You have the right to request the suspension, withdrawal, removal, or destruction of your personal data where: the data is incomplete, outdated, false, or unlawfully obtained; it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected; or you have withdrawn your consent and there is no other legal ground for processing.
- Right to Data Portability: Where technically feasible and legally permissible, you have the right to obtain a copy of your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Right to Object: You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data, including for direct marketing purposes. Where you object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests, ezji will cease such processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.
- Right to Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
- Right to Lodge a Complaint: If you believe ezji has failed to comply with the Data Privacy Act in respect of your personal data, you have the right to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines.
12 Children & Minors
The ezji Platform is strictly restricted to individuals who are at least 21 years of age at the time of registration, in compliance with PAGCOR online gaming regulations applicable in the Philippines. ezji does not knowingly collect, process, or retain personal data from individuals under the age of 21.
All registrants are required to provide their date of birth during registration and to confirm that they meet the minimum age requirement. Where ezji has reasonable grounds to suspect that a player is under 21 years of age, the Account will be immediately suspended pending age verification. If it is confirmed that personal data has been collected from an individual under 21, such data will be deleted without undue delay and the Account permanently closed.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a minor under your care has registered an Account on the ezji Platform, please contact us immediately via live chat so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
13 Third-Party Links
The ezji Platform may contain hyperlinks to third-party websites or services that are not operated or controlled by ezji — for example, links to PAGCOR's official website or the National Privacy Commission. This Privacy Policy applies solely to data collected and processed by ezji on the ezji Platform. ezji has no control over the content, privacy practices, or data processing activities of any third-party website and accepts no responsibility or liability for the privacy practices of such third parties.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party website you visit before providing personal information to that site.
14 Changes to This Privacy Policy
ezji reserves the right to update or revise this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our data processing practices, new legal or regulatory requirements, or improvements to our Platform. Where changes are material — meaning they significantly affect your rights or the way we use your data — we will provide notice via the Platform or by email to your registered address at least seven (7) days before the changes take effect.
The "Effective Date" and "Last Reviewed" date at the top of this Privacy Policy will be updated whenever changes are made. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically to stay informed about how ezji protects your information. Continued use of the Platform following the publication of any revised Privacy Policy constitutes your acknowledgment of and agreement to the updated terms.
For material changes that require fresh consent — for example, if we introduce a new processing purpose that was not covered by your original consent — we will obtain your explicit consent before proceeding with such processing.
15 Contact & Complaints
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests relating to this Privacy Policy or to how ezji processes your personal data, please contact us through any of the following channels:
